I glared at the lump that was my brother, lazing comfortably on my couch, and debated for the 1000th time that week whether or not to toss him out on his ass. He had been staying with me since his girlfriend had sent him packing two weeks before. I didn't mind helping out, but he had turned my apartment into a complete disaster zone. There seemed to be garbage everywhere, and I was terrified to go into the spare room, haunted by images of what his bedroom had been like while growing up.
