About this ebook

Be careful what you wish for. Chase is surrounded by lustful encounters everywhere he goes. Between the bewitchingly foxy girlfriend, the co-ed who can’t seem to keep her hands off of him, and the slightly toxic and astoundingly treacherous co-worker who eyes him hungrily, he finds himself up to his neck in lust and trouble. Despite his wish for love, he’s pulled into one ridiculous liaison after another. Of course, it’s not all about Chase. Mindy’s desires cause her to bite off more than she can chew when she convinces the naïve co-ed to share her bed with Chase. Tabby, the co-ed who wears her heart on her sleeve finally gets the chance to take what she’s been after for years. Despite his foxy girlfriend, Tabby will stop at nothing to have Chase all to herself—even if that means she needs to make a deal with Satan herself.
Follow these characters as they navigate the steamy world of lust, love and obsession. See how they are affected after their Dance with the Devil!

I love books. It has been a dream of mine since I was a child to author a book. A couple of years I gave it a try. It's hard work and I'm still learning but despite that...I love it! I love creating new worlds and falling in love with the characters that I create. I love hearing from fans or watching the downloads of my books increase. I love it because I know that in some way, I'm reaching someone that I wouldn't have before. Being an author is a great gift and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share my stories with the world.

    About the Author

    Prologue

    I love you.

I love you, pumpkin. The man sitting in the small table inside the nondescript diner, hanged up his phone and let loose a loud sigh. His heavy shoulders rising and falling didn’t go unnoticed by the waitress with whom he was intimately familiar, Helen.

    Everything okay, Phil?

Phillip Keller. Age: 59. Occupation: Ironworker. Marital Status: Single.

Phil tapped on his phone as he massaged his temple with his spare hand. The hand was battered and bruised. It was scarred and calloused like that of a man who has only known hard work throughout his life. Of course, Phil didn’t feel ashamed about it. It wasn’t that he was a workaholic or anything it’s just that he enjoyed seeing the fruits of his hard labor. Phil wasn’t an intelligent man. That is to say, he wasn’t particularly learned. However, he had the air of a man who knew his place in the world and was pretty damn happy with his lot. He didn’t have any need for fancy degrees just so he could lord his expensive education over another’s head. He was a simple man. That was Phillip Keller.

The diner was your typical small American diner. The food was greasy. The coffee was hot. The waitresses were wizened. It was the type of place where anyone could come for a bite to eat without judgement or criticism.

The diner wasn’t packed. It was the middle of the day on a Friday. The plant where Phil worked was right outside of town. He’d normally take a little extra time on Friday’s to drive here and have a late and long lunch. There were two reasons for it. Reason one had just slid right into the seat opposite him. Her brown eyes and graying hair framed her open and kind face. The age lines around her eyes made her look motherly, even though she’d always been without child. Helen Baker was her name and she’s known Phil since they were children.

Helen Baker. Age: 59. Occupation: Waitress. Marital Status: Widowed.

Phillip is a simple and straightforward man. He’s been in love with Helen since they were in primary school. He had always planned to marry her despite her constant rejections. It wasn’t that she didn’t like Phillip. She just wasn’t that interested in dating anyone in their small town. Still, he remained undeterred. But when her father got a better job out in Kalamazoo, he took his family and left their small town. They were both in 10th grade.

The next time that he saw Helen they were 23-years old. She had just returned to town…a newlywed. Phillip had never forgot his first love and had planned on tracking her down and reconnecting one day. But when she showed back up with a husband in tow, he felt lost and distraught. Drunk in his painful haze, he got engaged to the town bad girl, but before they could walk down the aisle, she got pregnant. One month after the child was born, she skipped town, leaving her newborn daughter and her fiancé to fend for themselves. He hasn’t seen nor heard from her since.

Since she was married, Phillip kept his distance. They were cordial and would speak when they crossed paths but as a newly single dad, he didn’t have time for romance nor an unrequited love. He gave his all to raise his daughter so that she was better than her mother and better than him. He gave her all the love that he could and then some. When she went off to college, he was prouder than any man had ever been. He knew that he’d raised her right despite his shortcomings. His daughter was the best mistake he’d ever made. She was the absolute best thing about his life.

That was twelve years ago. When she left, his laser focus for the presiding 18-years was redirected towards work. He merely worked, saved, worked, talked to his daughter, worked, slept, worked, ate, worked. Some nights he would go into town with a few guys from the plant but most nights he was alone. He didn’t mind being alone.

However, a few years ago, Helen’s husband died of heart complications. Phillip had done the upstanding thing of offering a shoulder for her to cry on without trying to take advantage of the situation. His shoulder had turned into a cup of coffee. That cup of coffee had turned into random lunches during the weekend. Those lunches turned into dinner at her place. Dinner at her place turned into trips to the theater. Trips to the theater
