About this ebook
What I’ve learnt from my journey in life...
There’s never a dull moment with our journey in life, we never know where it will take us or the people we will meet. But one thing is for sure, it can be exciting, dull, boring, or just eventful.
The people I encountered in my journey have taught me a lot about myself and the way I deal with issues. I have met some wonderful people who have given me good advise and have helped steered me in the direction that has made me more acceptable and caring of others.
I have learnt that if you want a happy and rewarding life you must first show happiness to others, be good to your neighbours, except and embrace different cultures, take yourself out of your comfort zone, live your life to the fullest, we only get one life, and follow your dreams...
I have met some kind and loving people who may have been Angels in disguised, many have come and gone, but I will always remember them with happy memories. They made my journey special and I am glad they were there when I needed someone.
May their journey be blessed and filled with the returned kindness I received.
I hope you have enjoyed reading about some of my journeys and the events that took place and of course the secrets that I have shared with you...as for the lies, well there were quite a few!

Dedication
This book is dedicated firstly to my dearest and closest friend Maureen, whose friendship I have kept close to me over the passing years. A wonderful person whose loyalty and sincerity I will always treasure, we met on one of my journeys and shared many happy years, some with laughter and a few sadness but all unforgettable memories. Thank you for being an honest and true friend.
To all my other colleagues and managers that I have had the greatest pleasure of working with over the years, past and present, the names are too long to list them all.
I thanked them from the bottom of my heart for making my working life a pleasure.
A special dedication to my family and friends for their loyalty and support of my work.

Chapter 1 - January 2009 The Beginning
7.45AM…
The weather was extremely bad it had snowed quite
Heavy during the night,
I awoke with a feeling of fright
Wondering if I would get to my new job on time,
Before going to bed the weather was fine,
And now at a quarter to eight
I had to rush so not to be late!
9.00AM…
The location was based in Kent high above the hills,
I fought against the wind and snow that the young kids thought was a thrill,
My feet was soaked and freezing cold,
It was a nightmare trying to cross the road.
Looking through my wet and steamed up glasses
I could not see a thing, except to hear the splashes of all the cars passing.
9.30AM…
I arrived there all wet and freezing cold,
As a new member of the team I had to do as I was told.
There I sat with wet socks all day,
Feeling miserable and uncomfortable while wishing the day away!
Who is she?
Meeting the team seemed odd as there were no formal introductions,
I sat there feeling like the new person
