    Publisher’s Note

It was at the end of 2017,

I wrote to some I knew and admired

to contribute some of their memoir writings.

It can be a story of many voices over conversation

about our lives and a calling for few believers

to pen down the untold tales to inspire millions.

    As I believe that

all of us do have lots of things to tell the world

and I don’t really want to let it dies in silence.

Moreover, it is to promote and motivate

the budding writers in our age.

Words are free so are our mind.

so this is the collection of

    micro tales, memoirs, and emotions

    of some creative writers

from India, Tibet, China, France and US.

It will serve as a perfect companion

    to our ups and downs

as well as twist and turns.

Since, most of these write ups

had been written at a time

when there was sudden burst of emotions

    of various sorts,

we tried our best to do as little editing,

so as to retain its originality.

We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciations

to all those who have stood with our new endeavour.

None of us is as strong as all of us,

so let us enjoy this journey all together!

    Bhuchung Kata

    (May- 2018)

    This

    book is dedicated to all,

    those who work so hard

    to make this world

a better place to live in,

    especially for those

    whose works were gone unseen

yet working hard for all day long.

    we are not sure,

    where would we be

    if it were not you.

    My Retrospection

    -TENZIN DHARGYAL

I remember it was towards the end of year 1992, that after requesting for a job, I was finally asked to go to TCV Suja to work as a teacher. At that time, TCV Suja was known widely as TCV Bir, the very mention of which got on everyone’s nerve because of some past mishap. It was at that time, that I joined this school as an adhoc teacher.

My perception of Bir school, at that time was something like a small school whose classrooms comprised of few tents. With that perception, I boarded the bus going there. The entire journey took almost 3 hours scurrying noisily through the gorgeous landscape. When the bus finally stopped at Bir road, last part where the bus normally stops, the time was 4pm. I shared one taxi along with some of my co-passengers who were also heading to that school and whom I later realized, were students!

I was wondering how the school would look. While putting myself in these thoughts, the taxi stopped near some buildings, which I later realized were staff quarters and school buildings. I looked here and there in surprise, for it was totally against what I had thought before. Near the building I saw some people, probably staff members playing table tennis, which seemed to be the only recreation for them at that time. I looked at them and imagined myself in their midst after few days. While watching them idly saw some familiar faces. Yes! They were my former school mates. I was relieved to see at least some of whom I knew.

And then they welcomed me and extended their warm reception in their rooms. That incident reminded me of my favourite movie, "Escape from Sobhibor’ in which few Jews brought to the concentration were welcomed by their fellow Jews already
