I come from town near Cincinnati, Ohio. Writing my thoughts out has always been important to me, so I decided to create a book of my life. Actually, it has been in the back of my mind to write a book for awhile now but I never found the time until now. I have four children and working on a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. What I like most is spending time with my children and our dogs. Yes, our dogs are considered family in my eyes. We all love them and they are spoiled. In my book, I talk about my experiences throughout life, good and bad. I am a private person and do not usually put myself out there, but writing is like a therapy to me. Instead of me going and sitting hours with a therapist and talking about things that make me feel uncomfortable, I am writing a book with thoughts and feelings that I have been carrying around all my life. I feel like therapists wouldn't help much and they charge you a lot of money to see them. By writing, I am getting it all out anyway. I wouldn't say I had the best childhood growing up but I have overcome many obstacles in my life. My beliefs are that everything happens for a reason. Who I am today, is because of what I have experienced throughout my life. You learn and grow through experiences and choices you make in life. I tend to help people who are in need but I also let people take advantage of me. Many people throughout life have asked me how I can deal with some of the things I have encountered in the past. My only reply to them was, “I don't know.” Depression and anxiety got the best of me most of the time, but overall my smartness and loving personality kept me from falling so far that I wouldn't be able to get back up. My book is based off of real life experiences. My hopes are for my personal experiences to inspire others and give strength to those that may be experiencing similar things in their life. I would say, to never give up in life no matter how bad it gets. There is always treasure at the end of a rainbow if you can be strong enough to push yourself through the obstacles to find it.

CH. 1
School Experiences
I will not begin my story with once upon a time,
for my life is far from a fairy tale. Instead, I am going to start as far back as I can remember. My first memory of life itself was at Christmas. I couldn’t have been any older than two years old. It was just a glimpse to me that lasted no more than a minute. My family was sitting around the Christmas tree at my grandparents’ house.
Unfortunately, I can’t recall anything else until I was about five years of age. I was in kindergarten at the time, but I do not remember much about the class I was in. Most of the memories I do have of my school experiences are negative. No one really wanted to be my friend or associate with me much so I didn’t have many friends. I was like the shy kid afraid to speak out at the back of the classroom.
During a bus ride home one day, I remember hearing a girl talking about her birthday. All the kids liked her, and she liked them, but she didn’t talk to me much. So many thoughts ran through my mind at that moment. If I could get her a gift for her birthday, then maybe she would like me too. I ran off the bus to my mom and asked her if she could buy me something that I could give this girl on the bus for her birthday. NO
, was the answer that came out of my mom’s mouth. How saddened I was by the response I had gotten.
She always says no. I don’t know why I ask for anything. She don’t understand how I feel. Why can’t she be nice?
Later that day, we took a trip to the store for something my mom needed to get. Inside the store, I came across this box of little hard books. In my eyes, this was the perfect birthday gift to get the girl on the bus. After minutes of begging my mother to buy me one, the result was not good. She just kept saying no
.
I need this book!, I thought. I wanted so bad for this girl to like me. So I picked the book up and put it in a hat I was wearing. When we got home, my mom made me put my coat and hat in the closet. To keep her from finding out what I had just done, I did what she said. I waited for awhile to sneak back to the closet to get my hat. As soon as I opened the closet door, my dad asked me what I was doing. Nothing.
I replied, then grabbed my hat and ran upstairs. He chased
