About this ebook
This Real World User Guide tells of my (sometimes painful) experiences and e-biking realisations whilst riding some 3500kms (2000 miles) on Swiss urban and mountain trails. It also now includes some 2010 and 2011 updates on my current ebike antics/progress!
Hopefully my mistakes, learned the hard way, will help you (or a loved one!) make the right decisions when buying, building or riding an expensive (and fast) electric bike.
This ebook features: The Bionx 250HT ebike conversion kit and a Montague Folding Mountain bike (and a Wike Golf Trailer) but is an invaluable read for all ebikers and potential ebikers.
The guide also pulls together a variety of ebike information and technical help that the author has learnt from nearly 5 years of surfing the online e-bike forum world!!
And: The Big Brother section!! - Tips on Staying Alive, including the telling of my 5 very close calls to meet the Great Kahuna in the sky!

A hardcore e-biker since 2008. I ride throughout the Swiss winters. I sold over 250 copies of the "Real World User Guide to ebikes" on ebay before I discovered Smashwords :) I am also a single handicap golfer and I used to be a successful ski instructor, which has lead me to try and find a way to help other golfers get better as quickly and as painlessly as possible. (Which is easy, just read my guide :) I am also an avid vegetable and tomato grower and have for most of my life been involved with either my parents vegetable patch or my own kitchen garden.

Just be bloody careful out there and read the tip on the right !!! [1]
Gloves, a backpack and glasses are an absolute minimum. And always, always, always, wear a helmet. Seriously. Don't even think about not wearing one. It's saved my twice so far, I kid you not.
Also, keep your mouth shut at all times, even when going Wheeeeeeeeee , which you will do repeatedly on an ebike, like a 10 year old, a lot. :)
