I’d previously had some incredible bike trips around Europe and even Iceland on my 1990 Honda NX650. It was a great motorcycle, but two years after watching the Long Way Up, I was riding back home to Germany from the North Cape in Norway and had some serious engine troubles. I then had a decision to make: put even more money and time into the Honda or go all in and fulfil my dream of riding around the world on an electric motorcycle.
