A. C. Durden is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and later obtained her license as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan. Over the past twelve years, Ms. Durden has owned and managed Nonprofit Resource Group, Inc., a consulting firm providing leadership, organizational development, and financial assistance to nonprofit organizations. She designs and facilitates training seminars throughout the United States. Her formal writing career began as a columnist for the Michigan Chronicle, authoring a monthly column titled, ‘Financial Solutions for Nonprofit Organizations’ which provided best practice advice in all areas of organizational management. A. C. Durden started Girlfriends Online as a vehicle to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrate the relevance of God's word to the everyday issues of life.
