There are two great days in a person’s life. The day we are born and the day they discover why
- William Barclay
The beauty of diamond or gold is seen when it is refined.
Your beauty is seen in the manifestation of who you truly are and what you were purposed to be.
A discovery of your gifts (potentials, talents, natural abilities etc.) is not an option but a necessity. Your relevance is locked within your understanding of your purpose.
There is nothing as fulfilling as waking up every new day and knowing you are doing what you were born to do. No amount of money can super cede the fulfillment that comes from living full of purpose. Each day becomes impregnated with purpose to the point you don’t mind spending the whole day fulfilling something that gives you pleasure but feels like hard work for another. This must have been the same passion that kept the likes of Steve Jobs hooked to his job and Thomas Edison still pressing on for a desired solution despite thousands of failed attempts. It’s the same passion that took a simple home-made burger restaurant in California in the 1930s and transformed it into the largest fast food chain in the world. Mike Zuckerberg took a simple idea of networking people and transformed it into a multibillion dollar venture. Aliku Dangote doesn’t run an oil company but is named the richest African man. There are great things within you that can become the history generations yet unborn we carry on their lips. Oprah Winfrey’s background didn’t stop her from becoming one of the greatest talk show host of all times that would eventually be ranked as the richest African-American of the 20th century. When an individual carrying solutions within, arrive at the residence of challenges, miracles happen. From the lowest rated morning talk show program, WLS TV became the highest rated talk show program in Chicago when Oprah Winfrey was appointed to run the talk shows. There are numerous story of people who
There is a solution crying for expression within each and every one of us.
One of the most tragic memories for most people is to discover that they lived a larger portion of life without enjoying the fulfilling satisfaction that comes with exercising their innate potentials. It is like buying one of the most expensive cars in the world and never getting to ride it even for once.
Too many people get lost in the daily trials of life to the point that they condition their entire lives as fighters always in one challenging situations or another but never conquering anything. In other words, they learn to fight but never learn to win.
The essence of a fight is to record victory. One of the goals of this book is to help you spend more time on discovering and maximizing the God-given potentials within you. God put these priceless potentials within you for a unique reason. These potentials remain locked up and never is expressed when we don’t take deliberate steps to understanding them and put them to use.
You can be in an underdeveloped country and still be personally developed. It is often easy to measure people by where they come from rather than what they were born with. One of the greatest hindrances to the discovery of what you can be is the mentality of who you have always been. It is easy to get used to a way of life to the point you never believe in the possibility of greater things ahead. The winner in a game is not called a winner before the game begins but a participant. It is the act of winning that qualifies such a person as a winner. That is also true for our existence as living beings. Just never settle to be an earthly participant that just spent a ‘lifetime’ existing and pursuing what everyone else is chasing after without finding that thing that makes you unique.
It is so natural for a baby to grow into adulthood. As human beings, our bodies are made up of different systems with unique functions that keep us in shape physically. Likewise the system of time has also been; even to us, not just to exist as living beings but to be of value to our world through the manifestations of the unique traits we each possess. The value between the time you were born and when you would die is called lifetime. These innate abilities and potentials within us help us to manage our lifetime effectively and live meaningful lives.
Earth is made up of over 6 billion people and every single person is unique and important. In other words, we have billions of very valuable people. There is no one that is more valuable than another. We only have those that have discovered who they are and are constantly on the journey of maximizing their discovered potentials and then we have those that have not yet discovered who they are and what they carry. These sometimes can be based on culture, upbringing, belief system etc.
Culture can shape how people respond or react to life.
If we have more people discovering who they truly are (identity), we would have fewer superstars and discover that everyone has the same capability to shine. I’d like to say that everyone was purposed to shine.
This book will not only help you begin the journey of discovering
