Procuring preventive healthcare services can allow you to be able to “screen for health issues and possibly even identify health issues before symptoms develop”. Preventive healthcare services can for instance encompass undergoing screenings for chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, osteoporosis, and cancer. Without procuring preventive healthcare services a person may be acutely unaware that he has contracted a chronic disease. When a chronic disease is in its incipience, a person may be unaware that he has contracted a chronic disease.
