- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I enjoyed the book. It mainly focuses on the person living with an alcoholic or an addict, that person in this book is referred to as the codependent. A term not used by many in the field of psychology now, but it is a term most everyone can relate to after reading the book.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is a great book that addresses some tough issues without being preachy or condescending. It is full of helpful information to guide self examination, with questions to consider at the end of each chapter.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved and resonated with this synopsis which distilled the essence of reading yet again a laborious long tedious book. I am aware and intelligent enough to self diagnose that I am a co dependent! Period. Now I need to focus on UN Dependence ! This book in a summary treats me as a partner and respects me. It provides me with tools which sound simplistic however are drama free and gentle! No heavy ness no heavy instructions just simple steps. It’s ironic that most books on co dependency are as drama infused and chaotic as the condition itself! Not this summary! Kind optimistic, respectful and most of all a gentle hand of love and acceptance! The best summary hand book an avid reader like me has come across! A beautiful gem!
