    WHY HAS NEARLY DYING CHANGED ME?

    Q Two months ago I was in an accident and seriously injured. If it hadn’t been for the paramedics I would’ve died that day.

    I have some scars but have essentially recovered. What worries me most is how much this experience has changed me. I’m 25 and used to be a party animal before the accident, never thinking about tomorrow. I was self-centred and quite a “hard” person who had little empathy for others.
