SHE WOULD HAVE WANTED TO LIVE LONGER

Q Eight years ago my wife and I got married and we had a wonderful life. She was healthy and looked after herself well. One day we were driving on holiday when she suddenly complained of a bad headache and I rushed her to hospital. She’d had a massive aneurysm which led to extensive haemorrhaging in the brain. She was left brain dead and we had to disconnect the life-saving oxygen from her body. After this she lived three more days.
