She interprets the fact that "he never once considered using protection" with her (and she's just assuming what his thoughts were since it sure isn't something they ever discussed) as a sign that he must be committed to the relationship because he obviously wants no barriers between them... That's a strong No for me, thanks! Way to romanticize poor communication and toxic assumptions.
