About this audiobook

FBI Agent Ella Dark has studied serial killers from the time she could read, devastated by the murder of her own sister, and has gained an encyclopedic knowledge of murderers. A murderer obsessed with past serial killers seems to be copycatting their work—but with one curious difference. Can Ella piece together what he is hinting at? Or will this diabolical killer outsmart her?

“A MASTERPIECE OF THRILLER AND MYSTERY. Blake Pierce did a magnificent job developing characters with a psychological side so well described that we feel inside their minds, follow their fears and cheer for their success. Full of twists, this book will keep you awake until the turn of the last page.”

This book is the funniest book of Blake Pierce's I've listened to. The English is out of context, full of cliches, strange psychological descriptions and incorrect syntax. Hilarious. The narrator is the right person as she is devoid of the right stresses of spoken English.

This one ended up being a bit creepy. When you realize who the bad guy was and what he did past and present, so very creepy. I'm glad that Ella and Ripley caught him and put him out of business.

But the big excitement of this one came at the end. Finally the witch is dead, or Tobias at least. I'm glad that both Ella and Ripley can live their lives without that threat hanging over them. Now we just have to hope that all of his devotees will leave them alone with him gone too.

I was a bit sad when Ripley announced her retirement. She deserves it, but these 2 women work well together.
