I’m so disappointed. All but a couple of the characters were truly unlikeable - and until about 3/4s of the way through the book, I would have said all but one of the characters - one relatively minor character grew on me. Most all alternated between whiny, unaware, provoking, self-centered, and wimpy.

Also, one of the plot points was left unfinished - not like a cliff hanger, just like it was forgotten. I may begin the next book in the series to see if the characters have grown, but if they haven’t, I won’t be finishing it.

Pretty good! The explanation was unexpected. I was actually more caught up in the family drama than the mystery itself -- I liked Belle a lot, I hope she features in the next book instead of just being shuffled off to college.

Ir could be good if not for a animal killer like the good guy… and the voice that the narrator gave to him ?it’s awful
