About this audiobook

Book three in the Thomas Elkin series

Designing homes is easy. Finding home is something else entirely.

Thomas Elkin and Cooper Jones finally have the support of their families, and their love grows stronger every day. Now living together, they think nothing can stand in their way.

But there are outside influences trying to pull them apart.

Cooper encounters a man, closer to his age and with connections high up the property development chain, who wants Cooper as his own. Tom encounters discrimination and a hidden agenda from a fellow senior partner who's trying to take him down.

No matter what the world throws at them, Tom and Cooper are the real deal. Age differences aside, Tom has finally found his sense of place. His one true center, his home.

This was the last book in a really lovely trilogy. I loved the MCs and great narration as always by Nick J Russo.

N R Walker is one of my favourite authors and I have read a lot of her books. But this series 'The Thomas Elkin' series was excellent. All three books Elements of Retrofit, Clarity of Lines, and Sense of Place held my interest throughout the three books, keeping me engrossed as to what's going to happen next between Tom and Cooper. Whether the age gap between the two will hinder their attraction and love for each other.
Tom is 44 years old and a famous architect and Cooper is 22, an intern at the firm Thomas Elkin is the leading architect, proving to be an energetic and hard-working, up-and-coming architect himself with modern ideas.
There is an instant attraction between the two in spite of their age difference which does trouble Tom initially but then love is love, it has no age bar. These two were meant for each other. I was hooting for them right from the beginning.
The continuation of the story in all three books is smooth and flawless, each book has something special happening to the main characters, there are some very funny moments and the language is pleasantly humorous, making me smile all along. The banter between Tom and Cooper is lovely, easily distinguished between the maturity of Tom and the gen factor of Cooper.
All the supporting characters gave the support needed to move the story forward. Cooper's brother Max turned out to be a character of interest.
Nick J Russo did an excellent job of bringing the story to life with his flawless narration and voice changes to suit the characters.
I would love to come back and listen to this series again at some later date, it won my heart over.
