I am just loving Carter and Isaac's story. NR Walker made such a beautiful story. I just couldn't get enough of this story. Then Michael Pauley does such an amazing job. I get more pulled into this beautiful story then when I was reading it. So amazing.

Eh. I really enjoy N.R. Walkers books but this is one I liked the least so far. Usually the characters are quirky and endearing and the author creates these amazing dynamic interactions and conversations and situations in a world that's just so easy to picture...this book was all that but packaged as a holiday Hallmark movie that you watch when nothing else is on; it's lacking a certain luster Walker's other books definitely do not.

I loved this book so much and the character is realistically infuriating ❤️

This is the first story where I find one of the main characters abusive. Words matter. One of the two in the relationship allowed it and didn't stand up for himself.

I don't begrudge the author or the story, it's just for me I find it triggering. The abuse.
