I have to admit this is my very first venture into a paranormal shapeshifters story. I know, I know, where have I been? I have to say I really enjoyed Unexpected Find. It was truly a page turner of a story. I could not set this book down because I kept wondering what could possibly happen next. Jazz has two very important people in her life that are in great danger. She will do anything in her power to make sure they are safe, secure and happy. She finds herself and her friends in the middle of a VERY dangerous situation. A friend of hers has been killed and mysterious people are in town. Jazz has to decide who she can trust and who she can depend on to keep them all safe. When she meets Rafe there is one MAJOR attraction between these two. Still Jazz has to make sure that Rafe is trustworthy with more then just their attraction. I admired Jazz for what all she has been through to protect those she loves. Rafe felt an instant connection to Jazz as soon as they meet. When he finds out that he really needs to protect her and loved ones, he takes the job very seriously. This is one guy I think I would want on my side in a rough situation. He is strong but has the tenderness to take care of those he loves. I really liked Rafe. This book has a LOT of dramatic scenes that kept me on the edge of my seat. I just could not wait to see what twist or unexpected turn was next. Nancy Corrigan has done a fabulous job of writing one very steamy book, with a lot of drama, suspense, and mystery. There are also a few very emotional scenes that I found to be very touching. I loved the title of the book Unexpected Find, I think there is times in all our lives that we find exactly what we are looking for unexpectedly. This is the first book in the Royal Pride series, I have book two in my to be read pile. I can't wait to see what wonderful story Nancy Corrigan has came up with. I am sure I am going to love it as well. If you enjoy an erotic shapeshifter storyline, with plenty of drama, and a lot of suspense then you really should check out Unexpected Find.
