This was a fun listen after my usual genre of murder and suspense. I loved these characters! The former footballer reminded me of Roy Kent from Ted Lasso. Great job on narration as well! This was my first book by this author. I think I will consider her books when I need to cleanse my pallet from murder and mayhem and mystery! ?
