While i liked this book it was less thrilling than the 1st one in the paranormal department... it was still exciting and i liked the story so am planning on finishing the last book as it is a solid series.

I'm glad I tried the second book in the series. Not as frenetic and hurried as the first. Still figured out who was committing the crimes but it wasn't something resolved in the last few chapters like her first. I enjoyed this one.

This second installment of the Dead Remaining series takes place in the small town of Clancy, Washington where Susan and Eric (now a couple) go with Eric's friend Jake and his bandmates to chill out after solving the child murders in the previous book. Susan and Eric, with their witty comments and down-to-earth sense of humor, are still very likable characters, but the plot was paper-thin with no surprises. The end was also disappointing.
