Charming, hilarious, and emotional, Starry-Eyed Love is Helena Hunting at her very best!

Having just broken up with her boyfriend, London Spark is not in the mood to be hit on. Especially not when she’s out celebrating her single status with her sisters. So when a very attractive man pays for their drinks and then slips her his number, she passes it right back to him with a ‘thanks, but no thanks’. As the business administrator for their family’s event hotel, the Spark House, London has more important things to worry about, like bringing in new clientele.

As luck would have it, a multi-million-dollar company calls a few months later asking for a meeting to discuss a potential partnership, and London is eager to prove to her sisters, and herself, that she can land this deal. Just when she thinks she has nailed her presentation, the company’s CEO, Jackson Holt, walks in and inserts himself into the meeting. Not only that, but he also happens to be the same guy she turned down at the bar a few months ago.

As they begin to spend more time together, their working relationship blossoms into something more. It isn’t until their professional entanglements are finally over, that London and Jackson are finally ready to take the next step in their relationship. But between Jackson’s secretive past and London’s struggle with her sisters, London must question where she really stands - not just with Jackson, but with the Spark House, too.

I like the theme of these books, and they have unique and interesting heroines.... but somehow these kind of fall into the category of "worth the read, but ultimately forgettable" for me. I"ll definitely read the last one, but I wouldn't PAY to read these.

I will say that I appreciated that the instalovey nature of this book was balanced by the way that they took things so slow physically. I personally liked the fact that they took the time to get to know one another first.

This is a great book IF you want to read about the normal progression of a romantic relationship with little tension or conflict. To be fair I also have to note that I DNF as it didn't hold my interest for long enough, but I felt like I listened for long enough to understand where it was going and it was a little too "everyday" story for me. Lacked sexual tension and angst or mystery.

Loved that it’s dual POV & has 2 narrators - both are wonderful! I’ve listened to this whole series and loved it all. Very cute romances.

Party planner London is meeting with a potential client when their billionaire CEO joins in and starts grilling her. She's shocked to realize he's the man she turned down a few months earlier when he propositioned her at a bar. Jackson still seems interested, but their working relationship makes romance impossible. Can they find a way to be together?

London and Jackson have a fun and flirty relationship that makes this book a pleasure to read. The story was well-paced and compelling. London's sisters also play an important role in the novel. The main characters were well-developed with tons of sensual tension.

The audiobook used dual narrators and added to the enjoyment of the story.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I have enjoyed both books in this series. I like a book with a strong family dynamic along with the romance.
