Oh, and there appears to be ancient ruins under our town. I'd be more excited if the Cryptid Historical Society hadn't shut us out of our own investigation.

Whatever. There are plenty of monsters to go around in Nexus. Secrets too. Time for me to cause trouble in the name of good.

So the next book is out when??? Loved this installment, it keeps you hopping wondering who is good, or bad, or maybe a bit of both? New characters join the fray, existing characters have some issues, and Ruby is the touchstone for it all. And then, and then, that ending had me yowling in shock, because I never saw that coming!
