About this audiobook
A writer who's blocked-I'm a total cliche. Lucky for me, my agent has a cure that's an even bigger stereotype-a month at her villa in Tuscany, with nothing to do but find my muse.
When he walks right in the front door, adorable son in tow, it feels like fate has finally done for me what it does for every other cliche'd girl I've seen in the movies. Except that he's completely off-limits. In this case, business and pleasure can never mix.
Because Claudio is my agent's ex.
Still, he's smart, charming, and wickedly sexy, plus a great father to Vanni. He's fast becoming the cure to all my writing woes. And it's clear he wants me as much as I want him.
As the hot Italian summer wears on, it becomes harder and harder to resist. Succumbing to the heat even just one time could ruin my career. Or he could be exactly what I need.
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I try to be open minded about narrators doing accents, but I just couldn't handle this narrators attempt at a Scottish accent. I will have to read this one with my eyeballs, sorry. Sometimes, I can't help but think - with an accent as accessible as Scottish - it would be better to just...get a Scottish narrator.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Hats off to Karina Halle because she has written pure smutty filth with a hot Italian hero.
Grace has a deadline to meet and her publisher cannot let her writers block carry on any longer, so why not suggest a trip to a remote Italian villa for a month with only views as a distraction? Of course Grace jumps at the offer but neither of them expected Claudio Romano to show up back at his own house. As you can imagine the close proximity trope plays a key role here and I adore it.
There's a scene in a ferrari that is now at the top of my all time memorable moments. A pure work of art actually.
For a storyline that could have had a massive conflict and dramatic scene there isn't and I love that because the characters are actually acting their age. It just makes Claudio that much more attractive because he takes control of the situations and deals with any issues which Grace really needs, as she's a fish out of water most of the time.
I will definitely be reading more by Karina and she's probably become one of my top authors.
