There's a lot less of the overarching plot in this one so it feels a bit slower overall. Don't worry - the rest of the series picks up the pace and the sci fi aspects more (while still keeping the sweet and steamy romances!)

This was lovely. I loved the banter between Alex and Auzed. The progression of the overall plot is moving a little slow, but it kind of makes sense as it is a huge political subject. I think, for me, the books lose a little of that earlier shine as they go on. The first two are by far my favorites, but this was still very much enjoyable.
