My favorite of the series. Vanessa was annoying at first and I had a hard time relating to her atritiude but she grew on me. I loved Fejo from the first word. He was so sweet and patient. Their HEA was worth it.

This gave the first book a run for his money. I already loved Fejo from the earlier books. Vanessa was an okay FMC. I warmed to her deeper into the book because of the subtle but good growth her character made. I found the story compelling. They way their backstories sort of matched, made the romance between them that much sweeter. I very much enjoyed this.

I have enjoyed all the stories from this author on Scribd. I skipped the smut and didn't lose anything from the story. They're good enough that the smut stuff isn't necessary.
