About this audiobook

Former Marine Will Hawthorne has defeated the Gates of the Golden Staff, but the remnants of the cult have escaped with the tools he needs to finally save his adopted world.

Searching for their last stronghold, he and three of his closest wives-fox-girl Merindra, cat-girl Narilora, and bat-girl Mereceeree-must trek deep into the Taitalan wilderness in hopes of destroying the cult once and for all.

But the trip uncovers a series of new and dangerous secrets that call into doubt everything he has believed up to now. With the fate of Taitala hanging in the balance, he faces a final, fateful decision that will determine both his past and his future.

Was a half decent series till this books end, id give negative reviews if I could. What this hack of a writer does in the end of this book not only makes me wish I didn't waste my time on this series and that the main character dies horribly but also that the author Dalton dies an agonizing death and hopefully before he breeds as we don't need more of his level of stupid in the future if he thinks the ending with the supposed hero kidnapping kids and fucking his remarried ex wife most likely getting her pregnant again was a good end. Any small trace of respect for the character is gone. Those weren't biologically his kids even if he did raise them for 6 years that's kidnapping and to bring them to a world where his exs daugter has no rights of her own and his exs son will be looked at as breeding stock. This hero is just a selfish piece of crap in the end. He has 40 wives 20 of which are pregnant with his actual k8ds but no let's steal the exs kids too.
