Praise for Uncommon Ground:
"For anyone struggling to engage well with others in an era of toxic conflict, this book provides a framework, steeped in humility, that is not only insightful but is readily actionable. I'm grateful for the vulnerability and wisdom offered by each of the twelve leaders who contributed to this book. The task of learning to love well--neighbors and enemies alike--is long and urgent, and it can be costly. And yet, as this book shows us because it is the work of Jesus, we can pursue this love with great hope."

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Precious stories of honest struggles to love God and love neighbors who seem very different from themselves
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Diverse voices share their experiences of how they must struggle and work to live out their Christian faith in a variety of arenas while working to reach out to others in love without compromising their faith. An excellent collection of wisdom from these people about being the people God has called us to be in today's world.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Uncommon Ground is a collection of biographical essays in which ten people tell their stories and align those stories with the theme of how to live among others with whom they don't agree or who believe differently than they do. I appreciated being able to learn from voices I wouldn't ordinarily be invited to hear from and was encouraged by the many ways these Christians are learning how to live out their faith in the world. But there is no single path. If you are looking for an instruction manual, this is not the book for you. But if you want to hear about faithful people still figuring out what faithfulness looks like on the ground, I highly recommend it.I received a free ARC of this book from NetGalley and have reviewed it willingly.
