Challenging indifference

Easter is the holiest of Christian celebrations as they remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Diakonia Council of Churches held its Good Friday service on the steps of the Durban City Hall. Themed ‘Challenging Indifference’, this is an abridged version of the sermon by Reverend Bulelwa Sihlali Woolley.

ELIE Wiesel once said: “The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference … And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.”
