About this audiobook
Those Jensen boys, Ace and Chance, find themselves on the wrong side of the law—and the raw end of justice—
inside the meanest, dirtiest prison in the Arizona territory …
Welcome to the Chain Gang …
When a barroom brawl lands Ace and Chance Jensen in jail, it’s just the beginning of a nightmare that will never
end. Their jailmates are army deserters. Even worse, their jailers assume Ace and Chance are deserters, too. Which
earns them even more hard time—on a brutal prison chain gang …
All Troublemakers Will Be Shot.
Things go from bad to worse awfully fast. One prisoner tries to escape and gets blasted in the back. Others face
horrific torture at the hands of sadistic renegades. And the whole operation is run by a maniacal army major who’s
working the deserters to death for his own profit. Ace and Chance have no choice but to bust out of this miserable
hellhole—or die trying …

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Title: Rope Burn (Those Jensen Boys # 5)Author: William W. Johnstone and J. A. JohnstonePages: 368Year: 2020Publisher: PinnacleMy rating: 5 out of 5 stars. Those Jensen Boys are very engaging and captivating men. They are known as Ace and Chance Jensen, but their real names are William and Benjamin Jensen. Ace and Chance are twins, though not identical, who have a way of always landing in trouble. Readers would definitely enjoy the western adventures these two get into by reading the series starting with Those Jensen Boys followed by Rimfire, Twelve Dead Men, and Ride the Savage Land. This story starts right off with Ace and Chance involved in fisticuffs in a saloon. Ace is the more levelheaded of the twins, while Chance loves nothing better than risk. Yet, when the two of them are in a room, they instinctively know what the other is likely to say and do. So, when fights are involved where you find one, I guarantee you’ll find the other. Now, the boys must fight for their lives even more than they have already at this point. Without their guns, shackled, in a prison and wrongfully accused, they have no way to get help. They are trying to get the lay of the land while always looking for ways to get word to the proper authorities about the happenings at a fort in a desert place. The work they must do is nothing they have ever done, and while young and strong, they know time will run out if they don’t act. But right on top of them is the cavalry officer who is out to make the lives of the Jensen’s and others a living hell.On top of that, the local Apaches are instigating trouble as are other men who may not be who they appear to be. Rope Burn was really an all-out fun book to read and it would be a shame if you miss this adventure. You might just find that you too can’t get enough of Those Jensen Boys and read the whole series as I did! Note: The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.
