- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Title: Twelve Dead Men (Those Jensen Boys #3)Author: William W. Johnstone with J. A. JohnstonePages: 304Year: 2017Publisher: PinnacleMy rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhew what an exciting read! I have enjoyed these two characters, Ace and Chance Jensen. If you have not read their thrilling stories, you are in for a treat! As usual for the Jensen brothers trouble seems to follow them no matter where they end up!I found the story to be quite compelling and engaging from beginning to end! The gang that was plaguing the town the boys drifted to was young and quite the bullies. They threatened the town people and were very ruthless. However, they tended to come up short once they met the Jensen boys. Pete McLaren was a young man who was a rough character as long as he had back-up. Pete had a small entourage that would do his bidding even if they thought what was being planned didn’t stand a chance of succeeding. When Pete is facing the noose, he threatens the whole town by stating emphatically that his big brother Otis would return to Lone Pine and settle the score! The whole town seemed buffaloed until the Jensens came to town, but the ending was very exciting!I can’t wait for you to enjoy it as well. The whole Jensen Boys series are great books to get lost in for hours in the wild west, with action, adventure, and more! The series of Those Jensen Boys will take you back to the day when good men stood up against evil men even when at great risk of their lives. The various situations these two men find themselves in are often times perilous! I enjoyed journeying along in the pages just to see how they would get out of alarming moments. When you read Those Jensen Boys, Rimfire and Twelve Dead Men, just be prepared for action, adventure and reading late into the night!Note: The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.
