It was a great story. A pleasant reader. However I've never heard or read as many references to whiskers in my life. It got old very fast. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

I thought it was a great book, a little off pace but I enjoyed the action, the western slang. It was okay, I definitely recommend to fellow western fanatics. McGreedy definitely stole the show at times.1 person found this helpful

It was a nice story, humorous in parts, likable and believable characters, but I guess westerns may not be my cup of tea. I feel it lacked excitement or action. Usually I am reading crime thrillers. - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5

In spite of the unusual present tense and the lack of sentence variety (mostly subject-predicate), I thoroughly enjoyed this well-spun tale with its terrific descriptions (half the time I felt dirty and tasted dirt or smelled gun powder.) The two main characters were so well written that they will stay with me for a good long while!2 people found this helpful
