It has been one great read for all the writers and how the a long time murder came to take hold in a community. Well led on the discovery all the lies and deception. Specially agent Griffin and Vickie Preston had been on vacation when there was a murder of a famous writer known as Franklin Verne. His wife was a friend to Adam Harrison and she called him for help. As alway historical fiction of the past was used to kill this writers. The nature of crime was like that of Edger Allan Poe. Vickie was sure that both this killings and that of Poe was same. In the end they were able to catch the killer.

This continues to be one of those series that I can just reach for when I don't want too much reality, but something just short of it. The mix of the paranormal and an enjoyable mystery make each one of these a wonderful and thrilling page-turner. Set in Baltimore the Krewe is back to solve multiple mysteries, but in the present-day, as well as the mystery that surrounds the death of Edgar Allen Poe! And having the ghost of the legendary king of macabre adds an extra layer of spine-tingling suspense. Really enjoyable.
