Well, well Cora Shields was able to make an old friend and his family find pace with knowing what happened to his sister. Together with her partner helping them close another bigger case with a mob family catching the bigger boss and handling all the families to the FBI. She was able to resolve what had happened to SEALS friend sister who got caught up in between herself and her family's husband, whose murder by his own brothers-in-law and other member of their family.
She is going back home to find out what happened to her sister. As usual, she will take on another job from the side. She is the one that shows up when a friends from their SEAL team needed help to locating her sister daughter.

Gotta love Cora and her methods to solve crimes. Why are most of the female MCs in Blake's books looking for lost sisters??
