About this audiobook
Get ready for a different kind of ghost story.
Decades ago, six children from across the United States disappeared on the same afternoon. Now the only one who can stop it from happening again is the boy who managed to escape.
Eric Partin doesn’t understand what happened 30 years ago. All he knows is that he was taken by strangers and locked in a small room for weeks before he escaped his captors.
Now the other five have been found living seemingly normal adult lives in the small town of Wakefield, Tennessee. But the Wakefield Five aren’t like other people. There’s something wrong with their minds. The only consistency in their wildly conflicting stories is that they all blame one person for what happened: Eric Partin.
Eric must return to Wakefield to uncover the truth before the evil infects another generation.
From P.T. Hylton, the author of Regulation 19, comes a tale of a haunting unlike any other.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5More sci-fi than the horror this is tagged under. A truly unique story and maintains it's pace until the grand finale

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great audiobook, well written and narrated. It's terrific in premis and not disappointing in any way. Loved the clear descriptive prowess from the author and the narrator gives it the pow factor. Clear visual depictions and believable dialogs. Suspenseful and page turning. Go for it.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very unique idea for a novel. Well written with likeable good guys and detestable bad guys. Highly recommended!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5First book for this author.
I loved the premise- very unique! Definitely could spin-off a part 2! - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I feel like the ultimate reveal fails to do justice to a moderately compelling setup. The lead character is (maybe purposefully) bland. Could have benefited from more horror and less supernatural action.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Pretty good read/listen! The person narrating did a great job! I wished it had been a little longer because the ending felt a little sudden and like the climax had not built yet.
