The main character is annoying and the narrator didn’t help matters

I’ve listened to several series by this author and while they are interesting and attention grabbing there are details that get changed and it is irritating! In this series Christopher’s wife’s name was, I believe, Justine, in the first book and now it’s Jenifer! That is a significant error! I don’t understand who’s proofreading these and not catching these errors! And how come the author is making these errors?

They look like random murders at first glance. The popular restaurant wench from a medieval fare, the woman in her fancy sports car and the goth on the bus but they’ve angered someone. There are so many candidates and suspicion men, but the local police are more hinderance than help. Once again Paige nearly gets them both killed but she and Christopher win out in the end.
