About this audiobook

Fugitive FBI Agent Mia North knows that hunting down killers and solving new—and old—cases is the only way to clear her name. When a rash of high-school girls are found murdered, discovered on the soccer field, the case is personal for Mia. Can she find and stop the killer—and figure out who framed her—before she is caught by the U.S. Marshals?
In SEE HER HIDE (A Mia North FBI Suspense Thriller—Book Two), Special Agent Mia North is a rising star in the FBI—until, in an elaborate setup, she’s framed for murder and sentenced to prison. When a lucky break allows her to escape, Mia finds herself a fugitive, on the run and on the wrong side of the law for the first time in her life. She can’t see her young daughter—and she has no hope of returning to her former life.

The only way to get her life back, she realizes, is to hunt down whoever framed her.

Mia’s former partner desperately needs her help: high-school soccer players are turning up dead in neighboring towns, with no rhyme or reason. Mia may be the only one who can solve it.

But her position is tenuous and she has no one to back her up.

Might she, working alone and racing against the clock, stumble right into the killer’s hands?

An action-packed page-turner, the MIA NORTH series is a riveting crime thriller, jammed with suspense, surprises, and twists and turns that you won’t see coming. Fall in love with this brilliant new female protagonist and you’ll be turning pages late into the night.

Book #3 in the series—SEE HER SCREAM—is now also available.

These books lack anything a normal FBI agent or any police would do. not even any common sense a normal person would use. In the last book she didn't do anything to get a good lawyer to defend herself, try to get any evidence. In this book she has been convicted for life and she isn't working to free herself but doing stupid things that can get her caught. I tried to like the books but couldn't do it.

Terrible editing! Also the narrator is almost robot like . Very difficult to get through.

Not as many repeated parts as the first audiobook but a few. Overall the story was good except for the fact that at the beginning of the book it said Mia's sister was murdered as a child and that's why she goes after any cases involving young girls. It was in fact her brother and that's why cases with children get to her. Later on in the book it does correct it back to brother. What really irritated me was the parts with the Marshal. We met him in the last book at the end, so did David, and he was headed after Mia. In this one they meet again for the "first time" and he finds Mia's footprints from a picture in the crime scene from the end of the last book. That's not what happened, he found them in person and followed her and already knew her partner was covering for her so the fact that it took until the end of the book for him to "meet" the partner and follow him around trying to catch her was annoying.

Poor narration editing of the robot phrasing female. Sad writing, storyline decent but not realistic.
