I love Eve Langlais. She is such a great writer. I love her humor and I love all of her characters. This is a fairly new series but if you follow her Welcome to Hell series then you know most of the players within this new series.

If you know anything about Eve you know that her heroines are always just ruthless in a good way. Ashely bargained to have witchy powers after her parents decided that it was time for her to be scarified for their cult. Lucifer thinks it is time for Ashley to keep hold of her end of the bargain by giving him her first born. Derrick, being a Canadian Grim, is sent to make sure that Ashley is having the time of her life and making sure that a baby happens.

This entire story was funny. There were times where I was just so tickled by what was happening. We also got to see one of the Angels and let me tell you that Angels are not as pure and wholesome, and you think they are.

I enjoyed this immensely and I cannot wait to continue this series.
