About this audiobook

Thomas "Blue" Miller is expecting a visit from the marketing executive whose radio station is featuring his Christmas tree farm in a holiday promotion. What he's not expecting is the marketing executive to be his first love, the woman who at eighteen turned down his marriage proposal and left September, Texas, never to be heard from again.

Jessie Buchanan has come to see Blue under false pretenses. Her station's holiday promotion has her remembering the man she left behind, the man she still loves and fears she always will. The man she knew would never leave the town that holds the worst memories of her life. Unfortunately, it also holds the best—those of loving and being loved by Blue.

Will one more night in his bed prove her memories false and allow her to finally move on? Or will this Christmas be the beginning of something even better than before for them both?

Alison Kent

Alison was 30 when she knew she wanted to be a writer when she grew up. Not long after, she accepted an offer from an editor at Harlequin. If there’s a better career than romance writing to be had, she doesn’t want to know about it, as penning lusty tales from her backyard is the best way she's found to convince her pack of rescue dogs they have her full attention.

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a mix of opinions. Some readers appreciate the uniqueness and love story between the two main characters, finding it an excellent way to pass time. Others feel that it is not the author's best work, with too much focus on sex and little story development. However, for those who enjoy novellas with spicy scenes, this book is a good choice. It is important to note that there is some vulgar language and taking God's name in vain, which may not be suitable for all readers.

This is yet another very short story to read when you don't have a lot of time. There is frank sex in it.

Not my favorite kind of book, because I'm not big on novellas, and I'm not big on jumping right into the sexy times....character development is what really does it for me!

THAT SAID! For what this is (um...a novella that jumps right into the sexy times, with little story at all :p ) THIS WAS GOOD. The spice was SPICYYYY!

They missed the boat not naming it "Blue Christmas", but I'll be keeping this in my smut arsenal!

I’m sick of vulgar language and taking God’s name in vain. I did not read the book. I have enjoyed your other books but I refuse to listen to trash when a good story plot is all you need.

Not her best. Steamy sex scenes. But kept asking myself "Why would she ever settle for anything less?"

What a great book and with its own uniqueness and tail of love between two people who through they could move on with each other. But time and going with others have shown them that no other can do it for both. Until they both came back to each other. An Excellent way to pass time.
