About this audiobook

Neanderthal Seeks Human, Book #1 in the Knitting in the City Series

There are three things you need to know about Janie Morris:1) She is incapable of engaging in a conversation without volunteering TMTI (Too Much Trivial Information), especially when she is unnerved, 2) No one unnerves her more than Quinn Sullivan, and 3) She doesn't know how to knit.

After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store.

To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivan—aka Sir McHotpants—witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Neanderthal Marries Human, Book #1.5 in the Knitting in the City Series

There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan: 1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris, 2) He’s not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants, and 3) He doesn’t know how to knit.

After just five months of dating Janie, Quinn—former Wendell and unapologetic autocrat—is ready to propose marriage. In fact, he’s more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same day—thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of pre-matrimony: engagement, meeting the parents, bachelor/bachelorette party, and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions.

But Janie, much to Quinn’s dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.

Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?

New favourite author! Absolutely loved this book. Quirky realistic characters, comedy and romance. Absolutely loved it!

I love this series, yes Janie is a little caught up in her head and misses the huge flashing neon signs, but its beyond exhilarating when she finally catches up with the rest of us. This can only be said because of the implied academia intellect she possesses. She is socially deficit intellectually, but her beauty is matched only by her book smarts and her inability to recognize and appreciate, her differences, being taller with a wild mane of voluminous unruly locks, Glasses and verbal diarrhea, I see myself in her. I'm addicted

This one is way better than the part 1. I love how Quin becomes an integral part of all the friends' lives in other books!

I wanted to like this, because I liked the dating the professor series, but the main character is clueless. I don’t understand how someone can be so naïve, yet be expose to a family that she has. It’s just not possible. She may be intelligent, but she has absolutely no common sense. So far I’ve continued to read. I’m almost finished, but I’m not sure if I will. Her decision making and rants are making it a tough read.

Oh my god. This author is so talented. This is laugh out loud funny and clever and engaging. I actually read the Winston brother’s series first and didn’t realise there would be overlapping characters and plots. Such fun! Love it! I normally like sci fi and world building, but this is world building but right here on earth, in this time frame. Brilliant. Just brilliant. It has kept me going for hours whilst i work. Right. Next one here i come. Xxx

The audio keeps skipping! It was fine until Chapter 6, but has skipped often the last few chapters, 30 seconds - over 1 minute. So frustrating!
