"I adore Kristen Ashley's books!"---Maya Banks, New York Times bestselling author
Love is the greatest gamble of all . . .
Nina Sheridan desperately needs a timeout vacation. With a fiancé who can't even remember how she takes her coffee, Nina wants some distance to rethink her engagement. Flying halfway around the world from England to a mountain town in Colorado should do the trick. But when she finds a gorgeous man at her rental cabin, Nina's cold, lonely adventure suddenly heats up.
The owner of the house, Holden "Max" Maxwell is surprised by the beautiful woman who turns up at his door. But when Nina becomes ill, Max spends days nursing her back to health. A private man with a broken heart, Max finds himself drawn to the strong-willed woman. Soon it becomes impossible for Nina and Max to deny their growing attraction to one another. Yet even as these two wounded lovebirds think about taking a chance on a relationship, a dangerous secret from Max's past emerges-and threatens to end their love for good.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very predictable. Good read though if you like Cinderella stories.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of my favorite love stories thus far!!! Definitely a must read. Enjoyed every moment and the curve ball it threw!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Couldn’t listen to the narrators awful attempt at a British accent, or the terrible inflections, had to stop listening 30 minutes in.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wonderful and entertaining! If your in love, ever been in love, this story grips you in an amazing way!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good and entertaining but a bit long winded at times
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It’s a ridiculous story but I liked it just the same.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Same story could have been told in half the number of pages at a better pace. Really repetitive and d-r-a-g-s. The hero comes off as such an overbearing macho throwback it's hard to picture the 36 yr old heroine putting up w/ his attitude. Honestly, she can keep him, not such a prize even in the fancy wrapping ;-)
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5i don't usually leave comments, but this book deserves it. it is a very long, boring and unrealistic story. i dont like author style, main character is very repetitive and annoying, if the book has 50k words 20k is "Max" (name of Ana's bf). I don't recommend!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A LOT happens in this book!! Worth listening to for sure.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Couldn’t quit listening to this book I thought it was excellent and very really right reviews because I read or listen to a lot of books but I’d love to speak with very good I’m gonna be looking at the obvious see if she has anymore like it
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I quit reading this book half way through. It is extremely unrealistic to the point of ridiculous.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5OMG by far the best book EVER! In love with this book only if there were more Max's in the world.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book was written in the weirdest way. So much happened in a weeks time and it was not believable. The bonds that quickly formed between strangers is more like a fairytale than romance fiction. How many times can you say “Max” and “umm” and mention coffee? The author felt a need to depict every action in such a mundane style that it is irritating and doesn’t flow. That is why the book is 25 hours long. The main male character Max is suppose to be appealing but he was so overbearing. This book received high ratings but it was lackluster for me.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the first book I read/listened to by this author and I truly adored it. It was also the first book of this length that I listened to... but I did not mind that at all because I genuinely enjoyed it throughout - it didn’t drag at all. The main character is someone I absolutely fell in love with (and someone I would dream to be like, which is always fun to read), and the exchanges were entertaining, some quite chuckle-worthy! I also think the length was almost necessary to thoroughly explain the relationship, and unlike other books, you could actually understand in depth why they felt the way they did about each other. Lovely read/listen - will read more by this author!
