A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check.
The recommended daily allowance is 7-13 servings a DAY. Are you getting that many in? Are your kids? 
We eat pretty healthy around my house but even we struggle with getting that many servings in and my mom guilt was getting annoying so after meeting Loretta I became serious about putting my money where it was important - nutrition.
