Description

Happy International Women's Month! In celebration of women all over the world, we bring you an episode that focuses on the impact of light on women's health. Women have different cycles in life that can be greatly improved just by making sure your body is in sync with the natural light provided by the sun. This is due to the hormones that have increased production depending on the type of light that your body is exposed to. In this episode, Dr. Lara Varden is again joined by Roudy Nassif, Founder of VivaRays. Roudy has suffered from ADHD, headaches, and eyestrain since childhood. No matter what he does - consulting with doctors, trying out different diets and supplements, and going to different health gurus - he has been unable to feel better. He also continued struggling with sleep, and as well as his productivity. He carries this frustration as he gets older, still unable to find any solution. That is until he tried out farming and living a life where he is exposed to the outdoors with the sunrise and the sunset just around the corner. This life-changing experience allowed his health to transform, with remarkable changes to his sleep, focus, and overall health. This led his curiosity to studying light and how it affects the circadian rhythm. The both of them discuss the basics of how light impacts hormones and menopause in a woman's body, diving deeper into the science that was discussed during the episode entitled, "How Light Affects Our Circadian Rhythm and Overall Health", the seventh episode of The DNA Talks Podcast since it's launch. This episode also involves the discussion of how light dictates the input of stress signals which not only affects the mother but as well as her baby, the perfect example of oneness and how health flows through this special bond. Dr. Lara and Roudy dive into how this affect pregnancy, breastfeeding, and milk production. Here are the highlights for this episode:00:00 Introduction03:39 Science Behind Light, Hormones, and Menopause08:44 Changing the Input of Stress Signals21:55 Breaking the Cycle of Toxins in Hormones25:09 First Thing to Keep Your Body in Rhythm with Light27:24 Second Thing to Keep Your Body in Rhythm with Light30:05 Protecting the Eyes and the Skin40:56Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Light49:28 Recommendations of Women and Light Exposure▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Learn more about VivaRays today!Visit their website at https://vivarays.com/Grab your own pair and use the code "DNACO" for a 10% discount upon checkout at https://vivarays.com/collections/clipngo-3-in-1Read through VivaRays' winter blog through this link: https://vivarays.com/pages/7-winter-blog-series?utm_source=lara-varden-thednacompany&utm_campaign=podcast&utm_medium=Grab your free ebook: The Key to Master your Sleep and EnergyVivarays is also on Instagram at @vivaraysKeep yourself up to date on The DNA Talks Podcast!
