The Golden Knights find themselves in second place in the Pacific Division after Thursday's loss in Tampa 5-4. It was game of runs in which VGK scored twice in the first period, yielded four second period goals, scored two to tie the score in the third, only to allow a Nick Paul goal with just 1:13 left in regulation. The Golden Knights allowed two more power play goals making it seven over the past three games. Jonathan Marchessault scored twice in defeat. VGK and Vancouver are tied with 47 points apiece atop the division, but the Canucks have won one more game. It is the first time Vancouver is in first place since the 2011-12 season. VGK skates at Florida on Saturday at 12 noon Las Vegas time, in a rematch of the Stanley Cup Final. The Golde Knights have dropped three of its last four games. Florida has lost four of five.
