Logan Thompson returned to net Monday after a 3 week period of inactivity. He posted a shutout over the hapless San Jose Sharks 4-0. Thompson missed at least one start during that period due to illness, but he came back sharp. VGK had an early Michael Amadio goal and coasted to victory to break a two-game losing streak. The Golden Knights also didn't give up any third period goals for the first time in three games. The Golden Knights also saw Mason Morelli score a goal in his first NHL game. VGK returns to home ice this evening against the Nashville Predators who are just two points out of a wild card spot.
