The Golden Knights 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators Sunday night might have been a costly one. Both VGK goalies Adin Hill and Logan Thompson were injured in the game. Hill started the contest after missing the last seven games. He might have aggravated his previous injury in the first period when he didn't react to Josh Norris' power play goal. He lasted just 6 1/2 minutes before taking himself out of the game. Logan Thompson seemed to tweak something in his right leg in the third period. He powered through whatever was hurting but you could tell he was in discomfort. This leaves a lot of questions for VGK in the crease as they travel to play three road games on the East Coast, beginning with the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday. We will probably see Jiri Patera brought up from Henderson. But we don't know who else will travel from the goalie corps. As for Sunday's game, VGK scored three times on special teams - twice on the power play and once on a Chandler Stephenson shorthanded goal. VGK also gave up two power play goals in the contest. The Golden Knights won three of four games on the homestand. We also recapped the Friday 5-2 loss to the Sabres. And Chris had some fun with a postgame interview with Peyton Krebs.
