VGK's Logan Thompson went down with a non-contact injury about a minute into the third period in last night's win vs Minnesota. It appeared to be a non-contact injury and L.T. had to be helped off the ice and couldn't put any pressure on his left leg. The good news is Bruce Cassidy said Thompson was moving around after the game, but an MRI is pending on Friday. If VGK brings up Laurent Brossoit from Henderson (AHL), then he would have to stay up with the team due to his contract. If VGK opts to activate Jiri Patera from the Silver Knights, it could reflect that L.T. has a short-term injury, because Pitera has a two-way contract that wouldn't affect the salary cap.
