Description
EPISODE 143 - Clark, John, and Will open the show briefly talking about the article on espn.com titled "The controversial rise and uncertain future of box breaks" and discussing the future of breaking in the hobby.
For Hobby Headlines, the guys then go over some scenarios in the hobby (such as pack searching at a retail store, buying a second card to avoid a new lower comp value, and making a trade near a booth at a local card show) and deciding whether it's fair game, wrong, or just poor hobby etiquette.
Then they play a round of Over/Under where Clark picks a card that recently sold and throws out a dollar amount. Then John and Will guess whether the card sold for over or under that amount.
The guys end off the show with the regular weekly Pick 1 segment where each of them put up two cards and they debate which one they would invest in. The Pick 1 pairs this week include: Kyrie Irving Silver Prizm Rookie Card vs. James Harden Topps Chrome Rookie Card; Luis Arraez vs. Luis Robert; Julio Rodriguez Bowman Chrome Autograph Rookie Card vs. Elly De La Cruz Bowman Chrome Autograph Rookie Card.
