EPISODE 140 - Clark, Hyung, and John open the show discussing whether Luis Arraez of the Miami Marlins (flirting with a .400 batting average) and Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks (on track for NL Rookie of the Year Award) were currently being slept on in the hobby with some of their rookie card prices cheaper relative to other players who have mediocre stats than the two aforementioned players.
Then the guys welcome Jeremy Lee, host of the popular YouTube show Sports Cards Live, to the podcast where he shares his wealth of experience in the hobby dating back to the 1980s. That includes running a card shop in the '90s, selling online, making hobby friends and then interviewing them once he started his YouTube show. Jeremy also provides his insight on the growth of the hockey card market, whether collectors will consider alternative grading companies, as well as some of his memorable interviews on his show.
Then Clark, Hyung and John finish the episode off with the regular "Pick One" segment where each host names two cards or sets, and then debate which one they would rather invest in. This week's Pick One included: Corbin Carroll rookie auto vs. Wander Franco rookie auto; Corbin Carroll rookie autos X 2 vs. Bobby Witt Jr. rookie atomic refractor auto; Leaf autograph cards vs. base cards.
