Description

There seems to be an idea in the minds of many people of all shades of religious belief, that because a thing produces pleasure it must necessarily be “bad”. All normal pleasures are given to us humans to use, but none of them must be allowed to use us. We must always be the master of these pleasures and not their slaves. The yogis teach us to live a simple life. Recognize that true happiness comes from within and that luxuries and comforts are not essential to life. They should be viewed as tools, instruments, or even toys that can bring enjoyment in the great game of life. By maintaining mastery over them and not allowing them to control us, we can experience a deeper sense of contentment. Thank you for listening to the Daily Yogi podcast!
